Even typing at 100WPM and making zero mistakes and having the original source code on paper and just retyping it into your editor, would take eighty hours. Certainly puts it into perspective.
He outlines some good reasons why back-end coders generally fail hard at front-end coding (*cough*linux*cough*), and I can’t but agree. Front-end is very time consuming, and not something you can make compromises on if you actually want users to use the software.
